After the reconstruction of the hotel formerly known as the Le Meridien, Ritz-Carlton Budapest opened with 170 rooms and 30 luxury apartments in the spring of 2016.

We delivered and installed an NEC SV9100 IP PBX unit and complemented it with specific hotel applications, including a Tiber CUB middleware for the Oracle Fidelio Front Office interface, a UM8000 messaging system, a Business ConneCT suite of PC operators and clients for the reception desk and for the room reservation department.

Guest rooms and apartments, corridors and selected community spaces were equipped with Jacob Jensen designer phones. The reception desk and the offices feature NEC IP system phones.

The unique features of the Ritz-Carlton, a hotel with an exceptional location in Budapest, create a special attraction within the Hungarian tourism scene. The building itself, built in the early 20th century, is a listed property surrounded by several UNESCO World Heritage sites (St Stephen’s Basilica, Erzsébet tér, Buda Castle, Andrássy út). This is the culturally prestigious environment where the luxury hotel that is now part of our reference list was opened.
